How I Work
Tones N Shades is an independent production company. Small team, long attention span. A project arrives as an idea and leaves as a finished film, made by the same people from the first note to the final frame.
One Author, Start to Finish
Development, directing, post-production. The person who wrote the film is the person who finishes it, so nothing gets lost in a handover.
A ONE PERSON Crew
Self-taught, independent, and a multidisciplinary creative, I can handle every creative stage of a project. I also build and coordinate teams based on the needs of each shoot and location around the world. I have worked on projects across several different countries.Decisions take an afternoon, not three rounds of approvals.
Culture, Not Decoration
The films carry the languages they come from, Dioula, Mahout, Comorian, Malagasy, English, French. I transmit knowledge and cultural heritage & introduce different cultures.
